Our buttery and lightly oaked chardonnay is named for the famed crossing of Washington of the Delaware River.  In the darkness on early Christmas morning Washington led his troops on a sneak attack traversing the ice filled Delaware River to win victory at Trenton.  It is said the captured rum barrels, which the troops celebrated with,  made the trip back a little more challenging.
